According to the website fivethirtyeight.com, the ten most common specific street names in the United States are Second, Third, First, Fourth, Park, Fifth, Main, Sixth, Oak, and Seventh. Hamden has all of these except Fifth, Sixth, Oak, and Seventh.

According to an analysis by the Washington Post, the ten most common specific street names in Connecticut are Park, Laurel, Maple, Lake, Sunset, Meadow, West, Hillside, Evergreen, and Ridge. Hamden has all of these except West and Hillside.
