If you are searching for information on your family, an older house, or Hamden in general, this is a good place to start. Some of the items in our collection can be found in the Miller Memorial Library Online Catalog. A keyword search is suggested here. Our books and manuscript collections are all Reference items and will be marked as such.
The History Room contains many collections that are currently not available with an online search. Archivist Kathy Lindbeck can further assist you with research and questions pertaining to our archives. Contact her at hhs@hamdenlibrary.org.
In addition, some of the smaller collections now have individual indexes. You can access these below. Send us an email if you need more detail about any of these items.
